You would want to go with whatever the majority is voting for, @(you need an account to see links). Regardless of which faction you side with, the one with the most votes is almost assuredly going to be the faction that wins that round. There are guilds and Neoboard topics dedicated to picking certain factions each round and battling for them. If you pick a faction that wasn't voted to win, then you'll be wasting your efforts.

The guild poll is split this time between the Seekers and the Sway.
The Seekers currently have more votes but I'll update once they confirm which team they are backing in ~24 hours
