I'd really hate for DC to be the one to break the winner's curse. If ck is going to win this, why choose a team that is already a powerhouse? Then a certain other site can just argue that clraik rode on the coattails of DC to win, and fuck that.

I'd like to think they have a BIT more sense than that, considering if DC were able to win by itself (since the days of old format) it uh, probably would have?

I really don't see why we have to pick a small team like faerieland or moltara. Yes, it'd be cute to watch them suddenly shoot up in the ranks, but it's also harder to get them to win considering we'll be competing with the 'other' cheating side + power houses. We choose a power house, the team has us + those crazy legit players. And IDK I haven't been on DC for years, but I never found their players arrogant or rude.

Except clraik made altador get second last year so I don't think bringing a last place team to first would be a big problem for us seeing as how only another site best us last year :p

I agree, brackets sucks balls.

I'd much rather have the old DRR - sure it was longer but it kept my interest (and I wasn't even a fanatic over the cup) and it made the whole thing more interesting because standings were actual standings. (At least, it was for me; I understood the standings a LOT better when it was DRR than this new bracket thingy).
