Recent Movie, Streaming or TV Binges?

I watched The Midnight Club this weekend, which is Mike Flanagan's latest work. It's geared towards teens, so it's not as dark/crisp as his other work, but still good!

I just came here to mention I started watching this too... only got three episodes in so far, but it is a fun watch for Halloween. It definitely has that Riverdale-esqe teen drama vibe.

I've never seen Riverdale, but Midnight Club didn't feel as over the top as some other teen dramas I've seen or caught glimpses of, which is good because I don't think that would have been the right tone, but still had a teen vibe, if that makes sense?

Oh yeah I get what you mean! I think Riverdale is just the one show my myself and my friends have all seen at least some of, and we all agreed that The Midnight Club had similar vibes after watching together. I honestly haven't seen many teen dramas either, hah. But I'll have the finish the remaining episodes when I can!

I binged Oddballs yesterday. I love TheOdd1sOut on YouTube so I was really excited for James to get his Netflix show. I wasn't disappointed at all. Now I'm binging the new season of Derry Girls

I am also watching the Midnight Club. I wasn’t really hoping for something with this subject matter and didn’t know about it going in. Not sure I will finish that’s not exactly the spooky ghost vibe I want for my Halloween season.

Oooh I'm also watching the Midnight Club as I liked the other spooky haunted house shows these writers put out but this one is meh I feel compared to the other. But it's still good

I watched Saint Maud on netflix on Friday night, and wow. It was a wild ride from start to finish. Just when I thought I knew the direction they were going in, I didn't.

Highly recommend that one if you're a horror/psychological/thriller fan!

I've been rewatching Aggretsuko with my girlfriend. I had forgotten how charming this show is, at least for the first two seasons. The third gets a teensy bit uncomfortable at points, but then 4 gets right back into the sillier side of things.

I just watched The Ted Bundy Tapes and that case was so disturbing... Like, he was a very good law student and very handsome lad, and a ''good'' boyfriend
but he was so sick of his mind LORDT. So scary since people (Specially gay guys) are disappearing in my city here in DR... I'm scared to be out now

I've been binge watching Jane the Virgin, I've never seen it before, but like there's so many twists and turns in the plot, it's always surprising! A really fun and enjoyable watch
