Is it possible you already have the avatar? If not, it's strange... it worked for me, about 2 hours ago or so. You could also try on a different device or browser.

Edit: You also need to make sure you're checking the box at the top of the page, before the questions! If the box is not checked, the avatar won't be rewarded either.
