No, I think we already talked about that. Here in Argentina it's summer and it took a long time but in the end I got the winter bg.
No trace of surfs up. Bat said that for this one you have to do something particular.

1. Interacting with a particular user's Ryu (at a particular timing window)
2. Interacting with Ryus at a particular timing window
3. Interacting with a friend's Ryu - can't confirm cos I have no friends on Clraik yet
4. Interacting with a Ryu via Private Messaging window
5. Friend interacting with your Ryu

I have one thing to add to the Surf BG in regards to the quoted 'surfing' mentioned by Nyano:

To receive your Surfing Pikachu you'll need to get really good at the Mantine Surf minigame . There are four beaches that have Mantine Surf to correspond with the four islands of Alola, you'll need to get the top spot on each beach, which may take some time but to get a Surfing Pikachu will be worth it.

..while the "Surf's Up" scene is based on ... something in particular.

I feel like this is a good theory worth testing - but I think @(you need an account to see links) doesn't have the Surfs Up scene and she was the first to get a ryu (other than staff)? So all of her interactions would have been only towards staff ryus (until she got her egg at least).
