Cats, because they are more complex and I bond with them more than dogs as I am pretty cat-like as far as my personality goes. Plus my cats are so much more cozier to cuddle with than my dog. I love him but my cats can just fall over into my arms like big furry mushes. They basically become stuffed animals lol.

I love cats but I'm highly allergic to them sadly.. I voted for cats anyway!
people will say a dog can look after you and a cat cant, but every one is different though.

I choose dogs because I have seen a lot more friendly dogs than cats.

dogs are cooler than cats in my opinion.
I can't stand little dog breeds. Too noisy - holy shit why do you bark all the time? Really enjoy the medium/large dog breeds cause they're cooler although big dogs scare me a little.
I voted for cats though cause I tend to get along easier with cats. Both animals are amazing pets though. Each animal's going to be different than the other, you can't say ALL cats are dicks cause you met one that didn't like you.
