Happy pride month! My identity has shifted a bit over the years and I’ve used a handful of labels to describe myself, all of which have impacted who I am as an individual and given me a wonderful insight on the LGBT community as a whole while I was questioning. Although for the past decade I’ve been confident with my romantic and sexuality! Gender identity’s still a little muddied, but my partner has stood by me while I work this out and I’m stronger together with him at my side.

To those to those who aren’t out, unsure, or even just questioning — I want to say that there’s no rush. Please take your time in order to figure things out, learn something new, and even try something different. Don’t feel pressured into coming out this month, only do when you feel that you’re ready for it. No matter where your journey with your identity takes you, never forget that you are valid, valued, and loved!

I feel like there are definitely some chars that are marked as being queer in their books... just behind a lot of red tape maybe. xD (Antola Maeir one of the Shenkuu YYB players is literally canonically trans so that is AWESOME)

Anyways almost halfway thru June and anyone else absolutely sick of all the capitalist "pride" being thrown around by companies lmao? It's always a massive joke to see which companies pretend like they've been supportive all along please everyone sees through your performative bullshit >_>

Also my friends are actually throwing a huge party today to celebrate so I'll be off for that! It's going to get real messy, real fast (primarily because the DD's are frontloading ahahah) but Happy Pride Month everyone!! If you're gonna celebrate in person at any point please remember to stay safe and take care of each other!

because of covid i'm not doing much in person celebrating, but I started my gay movie marathon and I always try to go extra out of my way to support other queer owned businesses during pride month <3

I saw this free streaming service with a handful of lgbt filmography on it the other day, I believe it’s called Revry if you wanted to give it a try during your movie marathons!

Unfortunately due to COVID there isn't a physical Pride parade this year where I live, but lots of bakeries and such have been showing support! There's a nice deal at our local farmer's market that buying anything rainbow (they made sooooo many rainbow pastries and foods) they will donate towards supporting the LGBT community. Additionally, this month since I am finally on my own I can buy my own binder without fear of my parents! So I'm really happy about that!

I work in a housing and social reintegration shelter for women in difficulty and their children. This year, one of the projects I've been permitted to allocate budget for was an lgbtqi+ inclusive sex-ed program for children and adolescents during pride month. I had the chance of hiring a Sexual Health Educator who's part of the community that I had met at a psychosocial intervention conference a couple months before. They've now accepted to be a permanent part of our team as my and my collegue's budget modification request has finally been granted, and will stay as a fellow counselor
In my personal life, as I'm moving in three weeks, I've started buying paintings and photography exclusively from the artists featured in the Art Hoe Collective ^-^

I feel like for sure the grey faerie is gay. She’s GOTTA be! Maybe that’s also me being hopeful because I always had a crush on her.

Also, happy pride to all!

This is the first year for me as being “out” as pansexual to my partner and some family and friends. I’m celebrating by baking rainbow cupcakes (yes I know how stereotypical but I like to bake!) and continuing to educate, support, and raise awareness to LGBTQI+ issues to the youth I work with and helping give them a safe space to exist and be exactly who they are.

Edit: I forgot to mention, I would go to Pride, but I don't think my city is doing a pride parade this year due to COVID. But we also do ours normally in September, so that could still change. If it happens, I will definitely be attending. I hope it can go but I understand why it may not!

I made cute lil gay customs for all my pets (and then sent them to my IRL friends who did not care at all.)
I am not very visibly out around most of my family and Covid has kept me away from my biggest irl LGBTQ+ community, but I'm really hopeful I'll be able to see everyone in September again. I'm also going to take my sibling to some Pride events while we're on a trip together in a few weeks! It's such an incredible, warm feeling to be at Pride surrounded by the community, exposing your truest self.
