Hearts have a chance to deplete during every tick, with a guaranteed reduction of half roughly every 3 hours. This was done so that people could leave their Ryugotchi for multiple days without it fully dying. Its hearts would be fully depleted after approximately 24 hours, and the death countdown would take roughly an additional 2 days from that.

oh? I do recall. we spoke about that too. and you had VIP? maybe when it ended? did you check in your profile settings (you need an account to see links) to see if it got removed by accident?

It looks like a visual glitch for when the forum removed your VIP userbar earlier today, @(you need an account to see links). You still have your Ryugotchi, but you have to add it back to your userbar stack from your edit profile page.
