Neopets Captchas are so annoying

Holy fuck, how indecent. The instructions are so vague, and it makes hitting backspace fucking impossible. Accidentally click the wrong link? You're fucked, because going back a page just gets you a resubmit info error.

JS took it upon themselves to be dicks to the entire community. It doesn't just affect cheaters and it certainly doesn't deter cracking.

Honestly with the captchas around it sorta puts me off going on user look ups or pet look ups.

I haven't had much problem with the captchas myself. The first couple of days after they implemented them, I found myself constantly clicking through the images. As of lately though, it doesn't even ask me. I just click the box and the check-mark appears. I try to give it a couple seconds after the page loads before I click the box. My reasoning is if they are trying to deter programs, if you click the box the second the page opens, it will look like a program. If you wait, it will look human. Then again, I haven't looked into the source code to see if it even matters, or I've just been lucky.

Yes they're a pain, searching for stuck pets is just impossible now. I recommend using a script to jump directly into galleries, shops etc. You won't be able to see the UL itself but at least you can avoid a unecessary captcha when trying to view people's trades.

And i'm like.. is this a river... or is this a lake... and i find myself thinking way too fucking hard about them. it is dumb.
