I love so many of them. Wonder if they'll become rare or if it will be common to get them

The Flotsam Beach Ball is SO cute I'm in love with it! It'll go well with my tropical themed gallery i'm working on.

They usually become increasingly common and cheap towards the end of the cycle and then bump up in price again after the set is replaced.

On the new prizes, I also really liked the Background and the Foreground but have only gotten the Altachuck thus far

That background looks surprisingly high quality, especially for a NP item. (Maybe my expectations are just low haha). Are there any other new items that match this style/artist? I'm digging it.

Love the colours in the island yullie, but I feel like with every new petpet colour release the art gets lazier and less cohesive?

Some older island petpets. Line style of their accessories is matched to their original line style, accessories drawn at their scale and fitted to their anatomy

The flowers just look pasted on, and probably shrunken from a larger scale as the lines dont even come close to similar, that lei cuts across the chin/front leg/whiskers with no regard for how it would fall on a 3D yullie.. it just feels like a lazy, hastily photoshopped mess. I miss being excited about new petpets and this is the hill I will die on.

Edit: threw this together in literally less than 10 minutes

The lines arent neat and theres no shading but if I were to to put idk, another half hour into it, wed have a cute little cohesive image. Why dont the artists do that anymore

They probably pay them cheap. Cheap artists = cheap art.

I did my own little fix with the sandcastle foreground. I played around with the color adjustment/hue/saturation to make it match some of the beach backgrounds that are out there. The original is really nice but a bit too...orange for my liking. My edit is far from perfect but I wish they would have taken that approach.

(you need an account to see links)

Excuse the Bruce, he just so happened to be my model. I'm gonna keep playing around with DTI because I really like the foreground and want to make it work out.
