How do you know? Is there a way to tell when a stock is about to plummet?

Not exactly, but that's generally what happens with the Neopets algorithm. When it starts a run it goes beyond 30-40, but when it starts falling from a point above 30, it will often go all the way below 15. But there's no confirmed algorithm or science to it. Just a general trend.

AAVL - didn't sell last time it went up. was able to buy a few more on the drop. hope this rise is as good as last time.
