Honestly it is hard to say, you can get an item worth 5,000np or 5,000,000np just depends on your luck. It also depends on what time you do it, most people have used up items recently from charity corner so they are increasing in price. If you wait until next February if charity corner happens all prices will drop again.

Oh, that's a really good advice!
I'll give it a break until February and see what happens. In the meanwhile, better start saving my money :'D

    Thank you!

    Thank you!
You can also start a rarity 99 collection so you hopefully have in your SDB what she asks for when you do start up and don't have to depend on a seller to be online.

Seemingly, not many if you go by the state of the TC at the moment Every person on a quest seems to have the backup of all the r99 collectors on every level of the quest, which is nice, but kind of defeats the object of the quests in the first place. Also this is the reason why r99s have dropped so much in value..along with CC of course but there is no need for anyone else to collect them anymore :/

Also the reason IStaff and WODF have dropped to ridiculously low levels. Seems like noone ever fails anymore...

The only thing that could possibly make you fail (if you have a sufficient r99 collection and tons of backup) is that you get an unreleased item. Happened to me a couple times around i45

I just tried the Illusen's quest and failed at level 32. I got asked for a "Bag of Sand". It's really disappointing when you fail. Good luck!

As someone who has completed both I and J quest multiple times, I would aim for around 20mil pure. It's not that you will need that much, but in order to pay back the collectors helping you, you need to have extra just in case. It was a while ago, but I remember a user getting frozen because someone basically lent them every item for Jquest and they were going to pay them back after they completed it. I think they were frozen for "Item pooling". I always paid/replace the item before I started the next quest to be safe.

@(you need an account to see links) - Or like, you get asked for a BSS or SSS or QFS

I did JQuest and it cost me like 20m, sold the WODF for 82m at the time. I-Quest cost me less than 5m.

There comes a point where you're just better off buying the end prize and calling it a day. Sure, questing can be fun, but not as fun as it used to be; for all the reasons mentioned in this thread. R99s are much cheaper and more widely available than they have ever been. But then you've also got people like me who currently have about 70 wodfs sitting around on shells from the incident a few years ago lol.
    What's my definition of success?
Creating something no one else can
Being brave enough to dream big
Grindin' when you're told to just quit
Giving more when you got nothin' left
