So with Neopets being a complete utter mess showing how insufficient JumpStart, TNT and their programmers are.......

What have YOU been doing with your free time?

Due to the fact that I do not actually play and half the site is down, my activities on Neopets have been almost COMPLETELY stopped until its fixed. I got really bored and actually started to complete things in real life that I have been putting off. I started eating healthier, been working out a lot, and as ridiculous as it sounds... I feel really good. Not stressed with orders, and just in a generally good mood (as I can be quite a grump sometimes as some of you have experienced). Also, finally looked into going back to school in January and been working steadily at my new job. So a lot of positives minus the extra boredom and less cash flow.

Oh............ and I *might* actually start playing again LEGIT (ish).


Anyways, tell me what you have been doing with all this off time. I know @(you need an account to see links) has seen it as a vacation.

I actually am really impressed by how well TNT have handled communication through this - they were working through the night on Friday. Yeah it's shitty but honestly it was a huge site with so much ancient coding, it could have been a lot worse.

I've not been doing a huge amount with my time really except having @(you need an account to see links) bully me on Skype and being super sick. I went to hospital, that's about the highlight of my week.

You should totally play (semi) legit! Neopets is fun!

This is a great vacation, although like you said, cash flow is tough when the site is all screwed up.
It was actually perfect timing for me because I've been busy busy with other stuff. Bonfires, beer festivals and birthday parties.

I've got the next few days off now, and was planning on using it to secure a bunch of shit to hold over while I'm busy this semester... but NOPE, TNT broke things. This transition could have gone a lot better if they prepared things a bit better. They could have even moved all the backend things over to the jumpstart servers and tested it all there before they made it go live there. But ugh, nothing ever goes according to their plan lol. The only good thing is that maybe now they will go through and fix some of the things that were broken before the transition.

Well I've been going to work on my off time but I also recently caught a cold and I'm one of those people who rarely get sick, but when I do, I get hit with it hard lol. So I took pills and doped myself up and talked to @(you need an account to see links) on skype about neopets and couldn't remember a single thing about it until I viewed it a few days later. <3

And then there's school where I am still adjusting to my first year in college after lazing around for about a year or 2.
