Gnorbu Day - Fan Design Maraquan Paint!

It's another pet day around Neopets.com - Gnorbu time!

There's a couple new outfits:

There really is nothing like a shorn Gnorbu. It's breathtaking, I assure you.


Or maybe an un-shorn Gnorbu is more your cup of tea.



But the talk of the town is the new Maraquan Gnorbu, which was inspired by a user on site!



The user in question is adopting out one of the tentacle-y little llamas and gave users a little idea of what happens when fan art is requested by TNT for use as official art:

As in most adaptions, I find the original is a lot better, but I think TNT did their best in re-creating this unique design to fit their aesthetic.

It's nice they "compensated" the user by providing them a Maraquan PB to create a pet matching their design -- it would have maybe been thoughtful to throw in a gnorbu morphing potion in case they wanted to morph a non-gnorbu pet, but oh well!

Shorn Gnorbu is never something I expected to see in this lifetime but omg the texture is so perfect. It looks so soft!! I want to pet him!
