Oh heck that's really soon. Almost surprised at how quickly it's being released.

It doesn't personally affect me, but auto-converting UCs is wild! That's the trading and black market pretty much over/taken over by TNT. I guess they figured since these things are so lucrative in the black market, why not take a piece of the pie. Or rather just take the pie away, and put it on their own table.

Fair play on their part I guess.

Makes you wonder, since they're auto-converting anyway, what if they had just auto-converted way back when. None of this would even be a discussion.

I think people would've largely stopped caring about the site and it would have died a long time ago, given the crossover between people who have UCs/care about the game enough to buy pets on the black market/keep coming back after all this time and those who buy a lot of NC. A timeline where all pets converted would be a timeline where we aren't even having a discussion on cK in 2024 lol. The nostalgia of UCs is a huge draw.

Hopefully the mechanics for the purge are simply “accounts that haven’t logged in for X years”. Then I and other can go back through and scoop everything up before it actually gets purged. Anticipating TNT messing that is too and accidentally purging active usernames and such.

Hey if they are going to clean house on all the UCs I have collected - especially recently - why not?!
Ive always enjoyed playing spoiler a bit. At that point I’ll leave it to the PC whether they’d like to report everything and get them all frozen again or let it happen and have the opportunity for those pets to be unleashed in the wild again.
