I think it's been proven time and time again that siding with the Guild's choice is still the best decision. Even last week when ck battledomers (geared with scripts) tried to take the Guild on, we failed miserably. So... just follow the guild's decision, get your rewards and wait for the day they select the team that you require avatars for.

It'll take a while, but it's the sensible choice.
