Uncertain Times Ahead
The biggest piece of news from the Altador Cup this year comes not from the participating teams but the governing committee! In an unprecedented move, the committee has warned public of an outbreak during the tournament and quarantined players for exhibiting symptoms of 'multiple account disorder' and 'magically enhanced physiology'. Several teams are expected to be affected by this development. Meanwhile, Brightvale seems to be in top form this year, winning all matches against powerhouse Kreludor and finishing at the top of the Vaeolus Bracket. Clearly this tournament will be anything but predictable!

I think at this point, JS wants anyone but KD or MQ to win, even if we were to all play legit, I doubt our standings would increase.
I don't see how JS can differentiate from legit and illegit scores, sure they could freeze the really obvious cheaters, but if they were able to tell who is SSing, wouldn't they be able to tell which users are score sending in flash games?

They're so focused on the KD and MQ cheaters that they aren't paying attention to the other cheaters. If they were able to really catch cheaters they would have caught the ones in BV, not just MQ and KD.

I think JS have heard all the people complaining on the boards and have made it so neither KD or MQ will place. They've done the math and concluded that it's easier to piss off the legit players of two teams, then all the players of the other teams. And if it seems like they are doing something about it, even if they themselves are manipulating the outcome, then they will grow in favor of the players in the other teams.

In their minds seeming competent is better than actual competence.

This isn't going to stop cheaters, this isn't going to devastate them. JS can barely fix their own site let alone the AC.

Have they got any ideas as to why? Obviously they were cheating, but what exactly do they think gave them away?
