If "illegit" UCs ever were allowed to circulate onto the PC without it being against the rules, i can see everyone who trades devalue them like they did with the 999 Draiks and so many other things.

how would one know if a pet is not legit though if they were allowed to circulate? if it was cached properly like they are now.. i don't think anyone would be like.. yep my pet is illegit even if it was allowed xD

idk I don't think that would happen between illegit/legit bc like now it is hard to tell.
However, I can TOTALLY see that happen if they make a NC or NP item that turns a pet back into a UC. Especially if it had some kind of disclaimer on it, kind of like the "zapped by petpet lab ray" thing. People would say things like "Original UC UFT!" xD

I always imagined a situation like that would make the pet untradable like Lutari, or it would rever like how if you remove the petpet.
Tiers in general fucked it! pet trading was once good............
I honestly doubt people care at this point, the only problem people usually have with illegit UCs now is the fear that if they are indeed illegit, one day their trades will be reversed and worse case scenario, you don't even get the pet you traded for it back or you get frozen at the same time.
