Ahh that sucks D: there's a flat opposite mine and one of the reidents also have a dog that tends to bark and howl for hours every now and then e_e It really does get jarring lmao.
Just need to venttttt lol.
I live alone above an insulation business. My landlord thought it would be cool to rent his office for a friend to live in temporarily, for a month, while he's here for work.
The last 3 days, after this guy leaves at about 5:30-6am, one of his dogs starts barking, howling, screaming... It goes from 6am to when I leave just before 10am (I'm sure the dog doesn't stop just because I leave)
My dogs, of course, love this (not) and freak out.
I sleep with a fan, and even that can't drown it out.
I MOVED HERE SO I WOULD HAVE PEACE AND QUIET.
I'm leaving a nice, but desperate note on his door when I leave today.
I'm ready to pull my hair out. I do not like waking up (and staying up!) at 6am.
I am feeling a little on edge and I might abduct the dog and make him into a coat. or a hat.
Just so I can sleeeeeeep.
rant over.
had to put this aggression somewhere.

Have you consider voluntary manslaughter?

If your note doesn't work, you could always fight fire with fire. If he's leaving at 6, he obviously needs to go to sleep early....
...soo, when you're staying up in the evenings, make sure he is staying up as well. Loud music, stomping your feet, "rearranging furniture", loud television shows, etc!
What's my definition of success?
Creating something no one else can
Being brave enough to dream big
Grindin' when you're told to just quit
Giving more when you got nothin' left
