Your Ryu will jump to another evolutionary branch if your luck (measured in stars on the Edit Profile page) isn't high enough. However:

Noticed a few days ago my dragon evolved from stage 2 to stage 3 dragon

As much as I want to do the other ryu lines for the scenes I'm going to keep my fully evolved dragon for a while!

ah crap i'm still in stage 0... is it too late for me if i let my bunny evolve now? can i make it to third stage?

usually its about 20ish days to evolve so if the bunny is kept through April then maybe? keep those hearts up and go for it!
