I just hope for everyone's sake that the art turns out to be as close to the UC's artwork as possible I'm not entirely sure why they can't reuse the current UC art and release them that way? They already exist on the site. This also makes me wonder if they will release unreleased UC's before the conversion happened if they are redoing the art *looking at you UC Faerie Hissi & UC Grey Draik* ;u;

If it's going to be stuff like that recoloured pink Fae Xweetok, where the eff is the shading? Its not just a lineart change. I hope its not a sign of what's to come!

TNT's almost in a can't win space. Most everyone just wants a rerelease of all the former art, but a select group wants its years of trading to continue to be exclusive and nearly impossible to get. So it sounds like they're trying to create a middle ground. Do they not get that it'll appease more people the other way? It's a game, afterall, as much as it does feel like part of the world.

Guess I'll keep watching from afar, I wish that team the best!

I'm also puzzled as to why TNT is redrawing the UCs when the old ones are right there. I'll have to debate between buying a UC of the three pets I've been eyeing up or to just go with the new UCs if they look alright.

My unpopular opinion is that I’m cautiously optimistic about this and it doesn’t seem like to me it’ll look incredibly different? I recall TNT once used the excuse (of many excuses) that the old art was lost/didn’t work with new stuff/needed to be retraced, so perhaps the new UCs won’t look different by much, just cleaned up. OTOH, if it’s not a compatibility issue with the old images (or if the old ones are gone), then it seems like a massive waste of resources like someone else said.

I do hope they bring back the sad, sick, fighting poses though. Those were great.
