What browser-based games do you miss?

insaniquarium! immediately it had me at What If The Screen Was A Fishtank, and then all the lil fish were so cute

It's on steam if it's something you really need to get back into! friggen LOVE this game so much. especially the repetitive music, and I'm not generally a fan of those. it's so catchy.

my most missed browser-based game would have to be Coke Music. I remember you'd get codes from coke bottles or something (I think.. or they were like on paper? I can't quite remember the deets).
anyway, super fun, and my end goal was to get the teleporters. I ended up having a room stacked with stuff I couldn't even walk around. some people had rooms like a little maze to get to the party, you'd have to go through several teleporters in a row to get to the end. was super fun.



It was this and neo at the same time. I didn't have any IRL friends that played so I thought I was so cool when no one else was doing it like this. some people's rooms were phenomenal. could chat as well and I think there were games? I know it's mentioned but seriously, was really fun.

@(you need an account to see links) I do remember sitekick. not well played in my books but just checking images and it unlocked a piece of history that was stored away for a long time. do you remember yabber as well? (sorry it's not a game but it was a moment for me lol).

yo my mom banned me from going on there because "the news" said people were preying on the young folk. also I think that might have been the reason they shut it down?? but fr, first intro to something MSN-y like. that's a sick line-up to be doing.

I used to play Habbo Hotel on a regular basis, and MyCoke was created by the same company. Good times! I miss these games so much. Habbo Hotel isn't what it used to be.

i swear i was thinking about habbo hotel before i clicked into this thread. lmao.

i remember the times when i will get online after school just to play these amazing mazes, trying to win some furni. some of the hosts actually gave out furni to the people who completed their mazes! there were also mini-festive-games hosted by the admins themselves, like christmas quizzes and will give out furnis as well!

they eventually released prepaid cards and we could purchase from our convenience stores. i remember there was a swimming pool where we could dive using these credits??

fun times before the more popular mmorpgs came into existence.

@(you need an account to see links) oh yes the pool! I've tried that once and I think that was the end of my time there lol. everyone was too cool for me. won lots of furniture in those mazes too. i think that's where the bulk of my stuff came from.
