Everyone on Neopets is only looking out for themselves. Straightup. If an opportunity comes along to better your account, you're going to take it (9 times out of 10); even if it includes cheating of some nature.

I wouldn't be suprised if many of the people who appear to be legit are illegit in some way however small it may be, owning a duped item isn't really a realistically avoidable thing anymore, but there's a lot of people who play the game legitimately who would never do anything to risk their account.

Also I actually do think there's a petpet stamp & jellyworld out there you could find for sale on site if you had enough np and dug enough.

I personally am all legit now, not going to send any scores even or do anything that would risk being iced again.

I think most people have cheated a little in some form or fashion, like having a friend go on their account to get them a game av or getting Mystery Pic answers or something. I always assume most people I see with Mystery Pic trophies probably came to this site for the answer lol.

I'd agree with that as well. Cheating varies on people's accounts: ie. Mystery Pics, Score Sending, Buying Items, etc. But what the irony is, is that they call out someone else for cheating even when they do it themselves. The definition is yes, broad. But it's all 'cheating' when it comes down to it.

maybe i hang out with the hc losers too much, but no, i dont think everyone cheats. at least intentionally

Depends on whose definition you're using? TNT creates a lot of grey area because of it, especially with what feels like on the spot changes announced in the NT editorial .

I really doubt I could play anymore without quality of life userscripts, and those get touted in most off site communities I see. Also this minor and is not really hurting anyone.

Well there's that too. Are userscripts technically 'cheating' too? I mean anything now has so much gray area because some things only 'enhance' our experience while some actually help you to cheat in the game. Even using exploits from the DD this year for extra prizes and stuff could be relative to 'cheating' too technically, but there isn't really a systematic definition of what defines as 'cheating'.
