In all seriousness, this makes the colour look much better! The fact that it's translucent has greatly endeared me to it, too.



I think the Vandagyre is meant to be an owl-bear hybrid. A couple of Neopets Wikis claim that it's a cross between a panda and an owl, so if that is indeed canon, the red panda outfit is quite fitting. The "realistic animal" outfits I've seen so far seem to be inspired by species in the genus on which the respective pets are based, like the fruit bat outfit for Korbats.

oh! okay if thats the case thats pretty cool. i still feel like we should get another neopet some day! i do like this outfit... but was never a fan of these pets.

Lol I both love and hate the new color. I came to complain about it tbh but I didn't realize what they were based off, and I kinda love they're partly transparent

I love both of the outfits but the eyes are just like slightly off which makes them feel weird.

the red panda outfit is absolutely adorable. i don't love the roundness of the maraquan design but they hit it out the park with the opacity on it. (and the color/texture is cool!)

So I really really love the new color but as I was browsing google images of sea angels to get a good idea on poses to draw mine, I came across this… it’s almost like neopets took the design colors and such straight from this artist?? I don’t think it’s the same artist who submitted their work because it’s vastly different. I also don’t know if this artist plays neopets too or not, or if this was just drawn (I don’t see any dates for when this was posted). But I thought it was really interesting how similar neopets design is to it…

I'm not a vandagyre fan at all. Dunno why I love owls.
BUT THIS COLOUR... it's the first one I have actually LIKED
