As Bart Simpson once said: "Okay crew, set your faces to stunned."

Either everyone is just as good at procrastinating as I am or you all want the reveal to happen tomorrow.
I was expecting to wake up, nursing my hangover from all the birthday shots, to se lots of wonderful entries this afternoon. One more day, don't miss the deadline!
    What's my definition of success?
Creating something no one else can
Being brave enough to dream big
Grindin' when you're told to just quit
Giving more when you got nothin' left

I'm guessing that no one wants to go first, in order to be able to "borrow" ideas from other entries. That's ok- we're often imitated, but never duplicated. We are Unrelenting; @(you need an account to see links), @(you need an account to see links), @(you need an account to see links), @(you need an account to see links), @(you need an account to see links) and myself.

    Name: Unrelenting

Motto: Ex pertinacia victoria (From determination, victory)

    Colours: Black, cream and red

Logo: We chose to have a Hydra from Greek mythology as our tribe icon, as it is notoriously difficult to kill and keep down, which suits our tribe name well. The Hydra will not give up without a fight, and neither will we.

Tribe Name: Nachtkriger (German for Night Warrior)

    Motto: “We survive to fight”

    Logo: Shark

Tribe Colors: Silver, Blue and Black

The nine of them were thrust together into the tropical, sun-touched sands of the beautiful island country of Fiji.
With five-hundred little islets, it was a wonder they landed on lush, gorgeous Taveuni. Banded together, all they had in terms of equipment
    was a used machete, a bag of rice and a bag of beans, totaling 10 pounds each, a metal pot to cook their food, and a rolled up piece of paper that read;

“Welcome to Taveuni, Survivors. You’ll find this tropical paradise is harder than you think to survive in. Take your gear, head into your camp and
start preparing for a long night. Hidden somewhere near you is a clue to the hidden immunity idol. Challenges start soon so start preparing!”

They divided up, with Gnorbu and Brickhaus headed to the well to bring back water in the metal pot to start their first meal, Daviid, Reload, haiqtpie and
Lyric to start on the shelter, and Teddy, Aska and item to go fetch firewood and begin the gruelling process of getting some sparks. The environment was
hot and the water that Gnorbu and Brickhaus brought back was quickly drained by parched throats. Again the duo trekked through the jungle to the well,
    bringing back another pot full.

Without a fire, there was no way to cook the rice or beans, the water ran out again and the sun beat down on their bared shoulders, causing some agitated
tension to grow like wildfire. They couldn’t decide on how the structure of the shelter would be, whether to use palm fronds as roofing or have Bamboo
beneath them to lay upon. It was Daviid that was the voice of reason, casting the agitation out by having everyone take a break and get some water.
Haiqtpie found a coconut tree and with the machete he made quick work of splitting the hard casing and offered sustenance to the group. Without the
rice or beans, this made the coconut milk and flesh much appreciated.

Daviid, after he finished his coconut and gathering up the bowl-like shells to use as bowls and cups later had a thought, “We’ve got the palm fronds
for a roof to weave and the bamboo stalks to lay on to stay off the wet sand but what if we used mud, too? That could be like glue and hold some things
    together.”

The group was impressed and Daviid along with Aska went out to find some mud, using a coconut shell to bring some back if they found any. Reload and
Gnorbu set out to start the fire while the rest of the group continued to cut bamboo stalks to make the floor of their shelter. The heat was a thick blanket
on top of them, near suffocating as they gathered as much wood as they could, made the little make-shift shelter and sipped on water and coconut milk.
They needed to boil that water and fast or they could all become sick, that fire was desperately needed and even though they worked diligently, one
taking over the rubbing of sticks after the other, no fire was produced.

Their hopes were dashed as the darkness gathered around them, all nine huddled together in the little clothing they had on in the little shelter they created,
knowing they were in for a very long night of hoping it wouldn’t rain. Every belly rumbled in hunger, every mind was on how they would survive the night
and what to do differently tomorrow so that they wouldn’t have to go through this all over again.

They were awake before morning, each as tired and cranky as the next, their bodies weakened from lack of nourishment and exhaustion. No one spoke,
just watched as the first rays of the sun become apparent on the horizon, attempting to feel some joy when there was none. The only slim hope to be had
was that hidden around the camp was a hidden immunity idol clue, it spurred them into the sluggish movement of cracking open more coconuts for
    breakfast.

Little by little things were getting done, yet no one really spoke, no alliances were created they just hunkered together on this little isle of misery.
They needed fire and after hours of grueling work, blisters seeping pus and all hands on deck they were going to give up. It was Daviid yet again with
the words of wisdom. “If we had some string and a curved stick this might work.” With no fire, only coconut milk in fear of the well having
bacteria, and the humid heat beating down on them the others were skeptical. Lyric tossed down the stick she had been using and decided to go look
with Daviid, item and Reload, why not search for the idol as well?

Aska, Gnorbu, Brickhaus and Haiqtpie went off to the ocean to cool off, possibly find some crabs and easy pool fish. They were unprepared for the
extreme adventure that awaited them, the uncertain difficulties they faced by swimming so far out into the channel. With great courage and undaunting
vigor, the little foursome had wrestled and beached a juvenile shark, with Aska landing the last pitch to carry the beast onto the shore. They arrived
back to the camp with this three foot beast, their exhausted bodies near crippled by the weight and yet they bore it, they were hungry and tired but
    so proud of themselves.

The contraption Daviid had voiced had worked! The nine survivors had fire just as the daring foursome came back from their swim carrying a large
fish; a shark! All eyes widened and bellies growled but there was just one problem; ”Anyone know how to cook a shark?”

Camp Design: Taveuni, Fiji (Beach/Ocean) - Bamboo stalks on bottom and posts holding up roof of kin to floor. Palm fronds
weaved together to keep off sun and rain. Water well within jungle, fire in a ring of stones and nine sleeping on the floor of their shelter in the
    clothing they came with.

    Tribe Name: The Predators

    Motto: You Are The Hunted

    Colors: Red, Orange and Black

    Map:

Deep within the jungle, beyond the distance of even the bravest explorers, Camp Predator's stronghold awaits. Hidden away in the thick foliage, guarded by the howls and bone chilling growls of the local beasts, clraik Survivor's strongest team sharpens their claws. If you overcame all obstacles and made it to this secret encampment, your visit would be brief and your death upon you.

Camp Predator's prime location is a man-made clearing in the deepest thick of heavy leafed trees. The provisions are abundant as there is plenty of local game and vegetation, as well as an ancient pure water spring just outside the clearing. Overlooking the surrounding jungle, a wooden guard tower stands tall in the middle of the encampment, occupied every minute of the day of those with Pteri eyes to suss out any threats that may come calling.

If you happened upon the camp, you would be captured. Though their mother's always told them not to, the Predators love to play with their food. Your fate would be decided upon by the camp elders, @(you need an account to see links) and @(you need an account to see links). Their wisdom and rule lead the camp on to victory in any circumstance they may face.

Every day, all Predators put in their fair share of the workload. Whether they stand on guard in the guard tower, cook the massive amount of meat needed to keep the hungry Predators going, collect prey and vegetation, or follow @(you need an account to see links) around telling him how great he is to keep his massive ego at bay, every person has their place. Unfortunately some campers even have to clean out the rest bushes every day, the secret place where all Predators poop. They do not mean rest as in sleeping, please do not sleep in our rest bushes. You'll learn the hard way.

All the structures of the camp are carefully made of the finest jungle materials. The tents are made with the strongest bamboo poles and the strongest skins that can be found. The guard tower is made of impenitrable wood, and the weapons station has amazing weapons forged from jungle metals. You will also find the cooking station, food storage and wood rack surrounding the camp. The three tents for the nine tenants of the team surround the meeting fire, making sure everyone is cozy warm on cold jungle nights.

The camp elders share Tent A along with the third chosen, @(you need an account to see links). In Tent B, the fierce @(you need an account to see links) resides with @(you need an account to see links) and @(you need an account to see links), and in Tent C, @(you need an account to see links), @(you need an account to see links) and @(you need an account to see links) all cuddle up in the night. Just so you know, Tent A has a divider in it so @(you need an account to see links) doesn't have to sleep anywhere near @(you need an account to see links), because he is stinky.

Camp Predator is a well oiled machine, helping the fiercest competitors of clraik Survivor 2016 come to fruition. Dare you step inside our camp and test your fate?

As the storm advanced closer to the beach, we knew our humble huts of stick and mud would not hold. We'd been fine the few weeks prior to this storm, but only barely able to keep ourselves together with the constant storms blowing in from the terror of typhoon season. The billowing winds on the ocean coast had been constantly getting worse as the hours moved on, and our tribe knew we had to move to a safer location, which caused us to try and move inland, deeper into the jungle. We had lasted this long by relying on stealth and… well, our sheer, unbreakable desire to survive, no matter the cost – this was no different.

The tremors from the thunder began to intensify as we traveled deeper into the forest, knocking Maria off her feet as we ran for shelter. The storm continued to escalate, knocking down trees, pausing us in our tracks, and causing critters to scurry between our legs. The little idea of direction we had disappeared as the clouds blocked out all light from passing through the trees above. As we scrambled to stick together and find somewhere safe, we heard a shout in a language we didn't know. We followed it as it grew into multiple shouts to find light coming from inside what appeared to be some sort of buildings. We kept our distance, hidden in the trees, as the light revealed what seemed to be a small village of people consisting of varying tiers of huts made from branches and leaves – some on the ground and others high in the trees, connecting bridges, a small, localized hut filled with what appeared to be fruits, meats, and other foods, and finally a waterfall that splashed down into a small pond with fish. Near the center of the village was a sign marked ominously as "TRIBE SIX" in what appeared to be… was that… blood?? We all looked at each other, and we knew what we had to do. Without saying a word, we knew that we had to eliminate this village to better ourselves. We had spent our lives preparing for this moment; this was just another hunt. Food, shelter, and water - all at our disposal with nothing but a few people standing between us… it was nothing we were concerned about.

We walked quietly through the village, quick to check out what we had stumbled upon, the storm no longer our primary concern. It was evident Tribe Six had been here for a while, as there were many members in the tribe and things were well-established. We walked right by villagers of Tribe Six, and not a single member seemed to notice - perhaps too distraught by the impending storm, or perhaps our skills of stealth were better than even we realized. It seemed too easy, too good to be true… but we continued. This place seemed like utopia! The huts, high in the trees, looked strong and, after quickly scaling the branches to look inside, it was evident that these were ideal for both shelter and security. Back down on the mainland, there appeared to be a surplus of various fruit trees and fire pits, and the waterfalls provided a source of fresh water.

This ensured our desire to take over. This place was much more sheltered than our home and we liked what it had to offer… so it was time. The majority of the tribe members appeared to congregate in a single hut near the center of the village, and we decided to join them. As we slipped into the crowd, one man recognized we were outsiders. He shouted something and quickly, more tribe members cornered us, demanding to find out who we were, and why we were there. Zach took the initiative to distract them with his infamous “Booty Pop,” and from there, the Rachel duo slid through the crowd, stealing clubs from people and swinging quickly, each swing ending in a quiet thud and a limp body. As the members of Tribe Six scattered, attempting to flee, we knew we had no choice but to finish what we had started. Did we really want them to be around to threaten us for future revolt? We sent the Rachels out first, and the rest of us grabbed clubs, silently moving through the village and slaughtering each member, one by one, as the rolling thunder obscured the sound of our thuds and the screams of Tribe Six. As their blood spattered the trees, the huts, and the ground… we accepted our fate that day.

Since then, we’ve established this village as our own. We’ve restored the huts to perfection, claiming the highest (and easiest from which to observe incoming threats) huts for our sleeping quarters. @(you need an account to see links), @(you need an account to see links), and @(you need an account to see links) are our hunters, bringing fish and game back each night as we gather around the central fire. @(you need an account to see links) and @(you need an account to see links) are our gatherers; they are well-versed in the berries, spices, and plants around our village. @(you need an account to see links) is mad fierce in the "kitchen," preparing meals we never dreamed we'd be lucky enough to eat in the middle of the jungle. @(you need an account to see links) can forge an instrument out of almost anything, providing the music to which we dance; our dances are tribal in nature... except @(you need an account to see links), our resident self-appointed twerk queen, who usually does her own thing. We remain in perfect health at all times, thanks to the watchful eye and medicinal knowledge of @(you need an account to see links).

Although everyone plays a role, we function seamlessly as a single unit. We represent ourselves with GREEN, for the trees of the jungle, our home, the cover that hides us well; RED, for the blood of our fallen enemies, and the blood we’d spill again to ensure our survival; and BLACK, for the color of our souls. Over time, we’ve perfected our skills and camouflaged the village and ourselves, for we are not here to play nice with visitors who stumble upon us.

We are not here to make friends.
We are here to survive. We are here to prosper.
We are here to take what is ours… even if it isn’t.
    You will not see us.
We are the whispers in the trees.
We are the feeling you get that someone might be behind you.
We are the shiver of cold you feel on an otherwise warm night.
We are the second glance you need to take to figure out if the shadow you just saw was a trick of the light or your deadly fate.
No, you will not see us coming, but in the end, we will come for you – the same way we came for Tribe Six.

WE CAME. WE SAW. WE CONQUERED.

For we are jungle ninjas. For we are...

    Team Colours: ORANGE, BLACK, PURPLE

Motto: You Only Die Once (YODO)

Camp Design: After being stranded by a shipwreck on the sandy beaches of an island a little ways from Mystery Island, a group of once strangers were bonding over the need to survive.
They needed to find fresh water, to build a shelter and find something to fill their bellies. After locating a clearing in the lush jungle off the beach they would soon call “home”, they began to set up camp.
Roles were assigned to members to help ensure their survival. With little supplies to work with, @(you need an account to see links) created makeshift weapons from bamboo and rock for both hunting and firewood-collecting. @(you need an account to see links)’s role was to patrol the camp day and night because, if they were attacked, he should be the first to go. @(you need an account to see links) was in charge of building and maintaining the fire, however @(you need an account to see links) and him would take shifts during the night. @(you need an account to see links) was in charge of hunting and fishing to provide food for her tribe, while @(you need an account to see links) was the healer who nursed those who feel ill back to health. @(you need an account to see links) would organize events to keep everyone in the tribe sane (it didn't work; their events now consist of banging empty coconut shells together and killing themselves with laughter). @(you need an account to see links) and @(you need an account to see links) built and set up the camp.
The fire was located centrally, with four logs set around it for seating. There were four tents made from firm bamboo and banana leaves set north to the fire. Though there were enough tents for two people per, @(you need an account to see links) slept in the trees because he’s a gorilla. Weapons were close to the tents so they were easily accessible if there were any potential threat. To the east of the camp was the ocean and the beach, where @(you need an account to see links) would catch fish.
Once, there was an attempted invasion from the pirates of Krawk Island. With makeshift machetes in hand, the cKastaways slaughtered them all while howling their infamous war cry -- “You only die once!”.
Though they are now known by the locals, no one dares ventures into their land…. There’s a rumour that if you are bitten by one of them, you may get rabies.

Cutting it pretty close I see. Everyone managed to get everything in time though, well done. The next challenge and other announcements will be posted sometime within the next day or so. Got lots of stuff to do before snow storm gets here on Friday.
    What's my definition of success?
Creating something no one else can
Being brave enough to dream big
Grindin' when you're told to just quit
Giving more when you got nothin' left
