Is there usually a prize for participating everyday during the festival?

I looked up an older Faerie Festival from 2009. You had to visit an area of Neopia and or Play a game. Problem today is that game playing is over. So I do not know what they will do for an updated FF this year.

The Faerie Festival is also known as the Faerie Quest event (a litle confusing, but when has TNT ever made sense). During this event, you can get a free Faerie Quest every day. You also get a free item from visiting the normal quest page each day, even if you do not complete the faerie quest.
If you visit the quest page each day during the event, you usually get a special prize at the end of the event. (you need an account to see links)
