It's Summertime!

It's finally summer time!
(at least for those of us in the northern hemisphere!)



So, I want to know...

What is your favourite thing to do in the summer? Are you a total beach bum? Lake lifer? How do you like to stay cool? Popsicles, ice cream, good old fashioned AC?
Maybe you have a favourite memory from the summer time? I wanna hear about it!

I will go first!

As a kid, we would always go to the outdoor waterslide park in June at the end of the school year. We would stay all day until we were EXHAUSTED. There was this one slide that was super scary to me, it was really fast, had big drops and was in pitch black. I remember the year I turned 12, I was FINALLY brave enough to go down it by myself. So I did, and it was a blast! Once it was time to leave, we'd get a twist (chocolate and vanilla swirled) soft serve ice cream cone.

Oh goodness this is me for sure. I almost cried watching a cat video the other day lmaooo goddddd.

LOL You're not that bad! I heard chihuahuas are the worst about being neurotic. My bf's sis has a chi/pom/dachsund mix and he's so yappy and attention craving.

Another random summer story:

Last year I went with my family on a vacation after years of not wanting to go. It was also been my first time in a long while since I actually got into the sea, lol. I kinda want to go this year again but idk if it'll happen or not, since I've got a job now and all that.

The dogs got a nice long walk before the sun really warmed this up. Now all three of them are hogging the cold floor in one of the bathrooms as they cool off lol.

Oh, summer stories!

So, I tell this to my younger brother a lot it seems lol

But back when I was a kid, my other two brothers (I have three), would always want to go outside and get wet with the hose. Well, my grandfather said that we couldn't do that this day, but it was REALLY hot...
Sooo we got some mud and just tossed it right at his car to get it all dirty.
When we told our grandfather, he came outside, looked at the car, looked at us and was just like "Just wash my car", so thats how we got around it that one day.

I LOVE that story and love to tell it lol It was just to funny to think about and how wild we were as kids.
Even though that might have been a little to much lol
