[Guide] How to unlock and care for a Ryugotchi + Ryu Master List (inc. non-actives)

We know that ryus wake up and sleep based on their owner’s time zone. Could it be you have to interact with a ryu when it’s nighttime in their time zone, not nighttime for you? It might explain why some people got moon walker right away and others still don’t have it. I don’t know where the majority of the ryu owners live, but my wild guess is most owners live in North or South America.

I also think it’s interesting some people came out of the evolution egg with the hearts-a-plenty scene but not a snake, and some people got a snake but not the hearts scene. And others got both or neither.

I don't know if I had an egg at some point, but I did wake up today to my Ryu with the hearts background (she had two empty hearts), do we know for sure how to unlock the heart bg yet?

@(you need an account to see links) Iirc the hearts background is probably unlocked with a certain level of "luck"/care that your ryu achieves; and while it seems like it's a benchmark for a possible evolution to be triggered as well, I think Bat said that ryus have the chance to evolve at certain milestones, but that they won't always evolve?
