His first mistake was going to the neo discord or even attempting to talk rationally to the neo Reddit page. They are both cesspools for bitter people who like to complain. I doubt most people, with exception, even remember who Adam was except for what they have been told third hand. I saw screenshots via two old school BD peeps convos, discussions about Adam making a new game. This recent chat seems to put the game behind schedule by quite a bit but I wonder if he finally finished it.

There really was no reason to berate Adam like they did. He hasn’t owned neo or been involved for a long time. Those frustrations are best directed elsewhere. I can see how he’d get upset that the people who are playing the game he made couldn’t give a shit about him and are immediately combative. I’d probably bounce right out of that server as well with a greeting like that.

In the end, somebody invite me to that neocord so I can lurk and creep more lol

I agree with that. The attitude he went in with seemed like he hoped to be welcomed as a god into the discord. Doesn’t look like that was the case, but I don’t think he deserved the welcome he got. I’d personally be interested in hearing about what he is working on. I agree with him the crypto is going to get even bigger than it is now and every project needs a way to make money. If he can integrate, successfully, crypto into a new game - that would be amazing. Building from the ground up with web3.0 would make the site much better than the old code that neo runs on. Web3.0 is the future. Crypto will be very heavily established within that. If people don’t see that or don’t understand it, maybe have a sour taste in their mouth for crypto; they will be left behind. I truly believe that and think everyone should do their own research to try and understand what is coming.

Im pretty sure he’d get a much warmer welcome here than anywhere else. I think it would be awesome to have one of the OG creators of neo counted as a member of ck. Even if he doesn’t condone some of the activity here and just posts and discusses what it was like back in the day when he was developing neo. What a cool story and discussion that would be!

I just don't think we went in with any well-formulated plan, and really if I was to promote my new game, I wouldn't do it via discord; twitter would be a better platform for that, surely? Or Facebook maybe, more reach. As for the crypto stuff, I have zero idea of what it even is so personally no opinion, but I mean, if he could make a game like neopet's where we actually made real money? Like if NP's were the equivalent to a certain percentage in real life, who wouldn't want that?
