So many dog people feel entitled to bring their dogs to places where dogs aren't allowed and either lie about them being service animals, or throw a fit about it, even if there are signs on the door saying pets aren't allowed. I can't even tell you the amount of times people have brought their pet dogs into places I've worked, let them shit or piss on the floor, and then just leave without a word. Or it'll go the opposite direction and they'll just leave their poor dogs at home all day and walk them maybe once.
They'll also treat their dogs like toys, or human children, instead of what they are: territorial, carnivore pack-animals that we have bred to conveniently live with us. This is not only bad for the dog, but it can be really dangerous for people and other dogs. I've been attacked by people's dogs that they just let roam around off leash, when my partner worked as a mail carrier she was attacked by dogs numerous times, and just the other week one of my best friend's dogs was almost killed by an off-leash dog and had to have extensive surgery.

Honestly, most people who have dogs should not be dog owners...
Lmfao I definitely prefer dogs over cats and generally don't like cats because they kinda freak me out and most I've known are little assholes lol, but it's funny because my friend said it's ironic because I act like a cat where I'm just not that outwardly friendly or affectionate at all and just do my own thing. I agree that "dog people" go over board for sure in so many ways and it bugs me because there's loving your pet, but also why are you treating it like an accessory that goes with your purse. "Dog people" are some of the most neglectful pet type of owners I've ever known. This is definitely a hot take, but a good take that needs to be said.

I have a dog and I agree with this. I've also seen a lot of entitlement from people bringing their animals into places where it's completely inappropriate to because it's their "baby". I have a rescue and it's been nothing short of a challenge with her - but I also don't coddle her or bring her where she's not supposed to be. A lot of people overly pamper their dogs and enable that behaviour. This is one thing I say often, but dogs are often a reflection of their owners or a product of their environment. I've had dogs in the past and never ended up keeping them, but my current rescue is one I've not given up on. I've seen so many other dog owners (especially in cities) let their dogs off leash, never clean up after them and show a lot disregard for a lot of their behaviours - or just completely refuse to work on them with the dog. Dogs are certainly not for everyone, and this is coming from someone who has had cats before her. Every dog is different, but it's ultimately up to the owners to advocate for them - especially rescues and the reactive ones that will attack other dogs as well as people. If people aren't willing to do the work, they shouldn't have an animal, period.

I know it was already said, but yes, CFA really is disgusting, well past their horrible views... the only time I ever had CFA was for a work celebration thing (we had so many other options...) and CFA was RIGHT next door so it was still hot and fresh (you know I left what I was doing for free food right when it arrived)... the nuggets were slimy!

    Anyway... what else...

People who like to take things out on people like The Kardashians are weird... I am no fan and I realize they all have a shit ton of money and some of them have done questionable things, but it is so weird when there is obvious evidence that a Kardashian is trying to do "normal people stuff" because they have never been in the position to truly do so and people rage at them over it or judge them. The Kardashians are just my example, but there are so many people born in to fame or are famous for so long that they do not remember what regular life is like, and when they try to partake in things that are more like everyday people things, they are met with ridicule and are blamed for X Y and Z. It is so weird. No wonder we have seen celebrities dip from the famous life and go live on a farm in the middle of nowhere...

This one boils down to just interest I suppose, but I have never understood the hype behind games like Fortnite, Overwatch... both different games in their own right, but every time I have tried to play them I have not understood the hype. I would say I have broad taste when it comes to games, but these ones just feel so... ordinary?

Um... how about more food hot takes. I drink Starbucks if I am not making coffee at home, so I will not comment on Starbucks itself being a waste of money lol, but Frappuccinos are a waste of money and I do not understand why people get them as a "treat yourself" treat. I know there is that huge thing about Starbucks employees whining about what people order (which is so weird, if it is a basic menu item then that is your job to make it), but I do not think I have ever seen someone finish a Frappuccino.

That said... cold drinks, no matter the time of year or type of drink, are the best. Hot drinks suck.

Ketchup and mayo are disgusting. Yes, even Kewpie . Mustard and buffalo are where its at

I could talk about food forever though, my family background is in food service and I work somewhere involving food (keeping things vague). I love food

Chocolate is gross and, objectively speaking, people only love it because they were raised or influenced by their environment that it's the nectar of the gods or some shit lol.

I feel like I’m going to get some mad hate for these ones. I am sorry in advance 😭😂

    1) Taylor Swift is extremely overrated and is a classic “pick me” girl. Her fanbase is chaotic (to put it nicely) and the people I know that are obsessed with her are some of the meanest and toxic people I’ve ever met. Her music also just isn’t good in the first place. I’ve also heard many rumblings of her not being a nice person/associating with people with questionable values, so do with that what you will

    2) Bacon is gross. Why do people love it? The flavour and texture of bacon just ruins so many things for me

    3) This isn’t really a hot take per se but more something I’m passionate about: pit bull breeds are not bad dogs. They often have bad owners who turn them into under socialised or absused dogs. That’s why I’m such an advocate for pitties! They’re the best dogs when they’re raised and trained with love and care. I never will want or have any other kind of dog than a pittie. Petunia (my pittie girl) is my baby.

USA Fast food hot takes to join in:
I don't live near CFA so never had it
Have a popeyes but they have a reputation for being dirty, nasty, and full of bugs so I never tried it.
    mcdonalds is repulsive
    BK went downhill
    Dont like KFC
pizza hut is decent I guess
I don't regionally live near some of the stuff mentioned like in n out so never tried it

I generally don't like american fast food and prefer the british stuff.
Greggs? To die for but I don't know if it counts as fast food.
Mcdonalds is less greasy and tastes more like a regular straight up burger when you get a big mac. Not god tier like greggs but better than USA
5 guys? It was really bad but I also had it in a train station and never had it in the USA to compare to

I don't care if you're only going into the store for a quick minute... there are parking lots for a reason and you aren't so special that you get to park at the curb and hop out to go inside.
