Even 1-2 cap items are harder to get.
Everyone is holding onto their populars and inflates them.
Several people would value their items higher than the guide and they would value your items lower than the guide. Some of the popular NCers are like this.
Value check boards goes up to several pages before they get a post about values.

ive no intention of tradin them though. it might inflate them but i guess at least i'm not trading for populars to retrade? ive made vc boards and participated in them recently and havent found them too bad. maybe i just catch the odd timing ones that get answered lol

the value proportion for some stuff annoys the heck out of me though because trading for HTP items when all you have is gbcs / common items makes it impossible. since they demand ridiculous htp with items back.

NCC is almost as toxic as PC

The NCC has been like this for as long as I can remember. The only thing that changes over the years is which items become inflated as older ones are RR and which shady/pretentious traders dominate the board as older ones get frozen or quit. You used to be able to sidestep these kinds of people and still get trades, but since the pool of traders keeps getting smaller there's really no avoiding it now.
