Man, they really don't answer any super helpful or interesting questions do they? So much of this is answered by the Help Chat daily, or is just kind of pointless (the poogle day hint question, for example). The only useful thing imo out of this week was the BC/neosig info.

Guess the random pet reversals, deletions, unjust freezing of accounts, etc etc is all just not as important as "can me and sis play on the same pc???"

To be fair, does anyone genuinely expect TNT to do this? Addressing those questions would be admitting that there are issues to start with. As much as this site caters to older players, there are still young people on Neopets, and I doubt the younger generations of player really care or have to deal with unjust freezing, pet reversals and etc.
And to be fair, those aren't necessarily 'kid-friendly' editorial questions, y'know? What if little Susy Q wants to see if her question appears in the editorial but instead all they see is some maladjusted Pound Chat plebian whining about a deleted UC. Kids don't care about that shit, and as much as we all think nostalgia drives everything, Neopets is still very much an interactive site that markets itself to children.
If we're being realistic, pet trading is really only an older Neo-user thing. I've been to the newbie boards. I don't see 'newbies' whining like I see whining on some of the other boards. New players generally don't give nearly as much of a shit about these kinds of things like your average Pound user does. The Neoboards don't represent the majority of the Neopet's user population. I never use the boards, and I'm just one of many.
I think people must just assume TNT has these things on their radar just because it's on their own radar. As an example, outside of the PC, are UCs really that important to Neopets as a whole?

Hard to say. I wish we had actual numbers for some of these things. Would be nice to know, because I'm sure there are reasons outside of laziness and incompetence that has TNT doing things they way they do. I do believe that the community overestimates how important certain aspects of this website are, UCs being one of them.
If they catered more to the people who actually pay for their site, then you think they would stop freezing all these accounts who buy items, accounts and pets off-site... because chances are, those people have more disposable income than the randoms on Pound Chat. Or, are the very least, are far more confident about spending money on a shitty, outdated 20-year-old website. lol

Tbh I’d be happier if they did answer questions about broken stuff on the site, like little patch notes, you know...

There’s nothing wrong with admitting that some things are broken, just... take some time and fix them and be transparent about it, goddammit lol

BC contestants can post on a board with our BC link in our signature, and we can only create a boards that advertise our BC entry in Art, Spotlight, and Premium. But I have seen users create boards with their BC link in their signatures outside of Art, Spotlight, and Premium. These boards are offering SSW searches for quests and offering a VWN or UC neopet up for adoption with their BC link in the original post. I feel like this is a Quid Pro Quo and violates the spirit of the rules. Is this allowed? Will I need to buy premium or put an UC UFA if I want to win BC gold? ~~ere173
HI, You are right, you can only create a board with the sole intent of advertising on the Art, Spotlight and Premium Boards. On those boards you can talk about your entry in any part of your post, NeoHTML, main body of the board, subject line, and of course in your NeoSig.

Now outside of those boards, you can only have a link in your NeoSig, nothing in the subject line, NeoHTML or body of the message discussing your BC link or entry. That includes on the Avatar board!!

Those boards (trading pets or offering quest help) are fine as long as they keep the BC link in their NeoSig only and do not discuss it any other part of their posts and are actually trading or giving out help.

If you see posts outside of the Art, Spotlight or Premium boards that link to or discuss their BC entry anywhere but in the NeoSig please report the boards so we can get them removed and keep things fair!
