It's Summertime!

It's finally summer time!
(at least for those of us in the northern hemisphere!)



So, I want to know...

What is your favourite thing to do in the summer? Are you a total beach bum? Lake lifer? How do you like to stay cool? Popsicles, ice cream, good old fashioned AC?
Maybe you have a favourite memory from the summer time? I wanna hear about it!

I will go first!

As a kid, we would always go to the outdoor waterslide park in June at the end of the school year. We would stay all day until we were EXHAUSTED. There was this one slide that was super scary to me, it was really fast, had big drops and was in pitch black. I remember the year I turned 12, I was FINALLY brave enough to go down it by myself. So I did, and it was a blast! Once it was time to leave, we'd get a twist (chocolate and vanilla swirled) soft serve ice cream cone.

@(you need an account to see links) - i played Birth by Sleep and I think 358/2 Days, don't really rmb. It's the one on DS ^^

Birth by sleep is one of my favorites as you have to play as 3 characters and upgrade each one of their powers and forms.

Tbh, KH has a summer feeling to it and it makes me think of summer as the first time I played it was when I had a cousin from the US who brought his ps2 and his games
and KH1 was one of them and then I had to ask my aunts to bring me KH2 when it came out the next summer...

OH THE DAYS. Who would have thought those summer days as a kid were gonna be so cherished now as an adult. Sometimes I wish life would be as easy as back then.

KH3 is on my to-play-list but i actually never played KH1 or 2 before.

@(you need an account to see links) - birth by sleep was SO GOOD!!! I don't play a lot of KH games but it's really one of the best games I've played from Square enix! The story, the characters, the game play. Everything was done so well. I'm hoping their port it over to PC or switch.

@(you need an account to see links) ugh I started a game a loooong time ago (I think back in uni) and I could not get through Wonderland (which is like what world 1 or whatever) so I stopped playing whoops XD I really DO want to play through it and all the other games though.

I ugh used to play KHUx the mobile game briefly when it was first released and spent way too much money whaling on the gacha and let's just say that is the bulk of my interaction with the KH franchise well I also did cosplay KH2 Kairi once but we don't talk about that 🤣

Oh my god that's really nice, I would like to cosplay Terra one day. He's definitely one of my favorite characters.

I played KHUx untill the Wreck it Ralph world came out, haven't played since but I watch the story on youtube as I need to be updated on everything haha

I have an addictive personality when it comes to gambling so over the ~6 years I have heavily played gacha games, I have spent a truly deplorable amount lol I stopped playing cold turkey for about a year last year but recently picked up a couple of my favorites to focus on. Which ones do you play? I really only like rhythm games but I know the rpg style ones are very popular.

It's always the "just 1 more pull, just 10 more pulls, I'll get it soon" that kills TT I've spent way too much on games it's just ridiculous, I had to get my husband to change my PP password and not give it to me for a few months just to stop myself. I'm currently playing GBF, Mahjong Soul and Tears of Themis. I just dropped Genshin though, that game takes up too much of my time LOL. I LOVE LOVE LOVE rhythm games but my phone cant support them because it gets too laggy But which rhythm games are you playing now? I'd love to pick one up ^^

We were able to BBQ and I ate my weight in grilled corn 🤤
The sky is still very dark and threatening. I suspect another storm overnight.

@(you need an account to see links) girl I feeeeeel that in my bones LOOOL yeah a lot of my friends are deep into Genshin right now, I knew right away I would need to steer clear of it lol. But I don't have a lot of time for full on MMOs n stuff these days anyway. GBF is still popular among some of my friends too! The main game I play (and will still spend a bit of money on here and there) is Bang Dream! It's one of the more modern ones and I've had my worldwide account since almost day 1 of server launch and have tiered a few events so it is very special to me. Plus the music is amazing?? Girl bands playing original and anime cover music! What more could you want haha. I definitely recommend it if you have a device that can handle it

Ugh I am disappointed it still hasn't stormed here! I feel let down lol. My expectations were so high
