What do you like most of your job?

I'm not working right now, but when I was, I really liked my coworkers. They were nice people and made a soulless, boring job all that more bearable.

[edit] I worked in Quality Assurance for a tech company that specialized in text-to-speech. All I did all day was listen to the sample text, read what the robot thought it said, and take note of any corrections that needed to be made. You couldn't even listen to music because you needed to pay attention to the sample text. I hated every minute.

My coworkers were great, though. They would stop everyone to point out the funny things the robot came up with and we'd make them inside jokes about it.

I work in the big tech industry and I love the culture and my colleagues. They're more progressive, inclusive and understand that one might have a life outside of their work.

I say that last part because I have also worked in the finance industry and that felt like the 1980s.

I work in a coffee shop and the best part about it is learning new things about people! Even my coworkers. We often have people come in who “just need a cup of coffee to get by” and tell us all kinds of cool things. I love being that source of comfort for people. I really feel like coffee time can be that time of the day where you wind down or prepare to work through being wound up.

I work at a dog daycare/pet boarding facility and my favorite thing is definitely when a puppy or kitten becomes a regular and I get to see them grow up!

currently i love that my lunches are an hour and a half. i get so much done! i do a 45 min workout during lunch and then do some studying for school now lol

I get an hour for lunch at work so our shifts are 9 hours total and I’m often too exhausted to do anything but eat and want to sleep!

oui, 9 hour/10 hour days feel so draggy so i understand that. at least with 12 hour shifts your usually on for what 3 days right? but a full work week with 9/10 hours i can imagine being super tired. im glad i dont have that yet...

But I use to work at Disneyland! (Was let go due to being on MLOA for to long)
I LOVED being able to chat and spend time with the guests! I use to work at Fortuosity, which is the Jewelry store. With it, I got the chance to sell so many different kinds of jewelry and even Pandora.
Being able to help a guest with picking out a ring or charms was always so fun!

I remember working during the 60th anniversary and we had SO many 60th items and watches! Oh my word I LOVED going into work each day to just see how excited people got with it!

Correct! There were cast member only pins and even "mystery boxes" that we could get. One was B.O.L.O with some of the villains!
But I do collect pins as well!! Er... us to lol It was getting super expensive. I also use to collect PTDs!

As for working there, it was a ton of fun but there were so many rules on what we had to do and stuff.
I'll admit... there were days where I had to go in the back and just cry out my frustration due to people yelling at me all day for things I had no control over.
Or if I was just following the rules and people got upset that I couldn't do certain things for them.
