@(you need an account to see links) , Yeah its sad, i think aside from those people who are into Kpop during gen1-gen2 (maybe gen3), will still feel Nostalgic when listening/discover came across the old songs. They would most likely be buried by the new waves from Gen4 onwards as there are too many groups popping out throughout the years.

I have been randomly looping Purple Kiss so far i won't say they are not my cup of tea for now haha , only added 2 songs into my playlist - Autopilot and Sweet Juice ( i like that Sweet Juice part in the chorus)

I can't believe I didn't noticed this thread before!
I can't exactly remember how I got into K-pop, but of course my earliest memory would be 'Wedding Dress' by Taeyang. Following Taeyang, I believe I discovered Big Bang, which eventually went into finding B2ST (BEAST).
Definitely remember having a B2ST moment and listened to a good amount of their songs. My top favorites from them were Fiction, Midnight, and Beautiful Night. Ended up playing these songs briefly while typing this up, and it unlocked some memories!

Moving on after B2ST, I think I faded out of my K-Pop phase as I can't remember who I ended up listening to after up until more "recent" memories.
Which of course led me to TWICE, BLACKPINK. Of course there are multiple of other groups that I've heard of/listened to, but these two groups are two that I probably listened to more than others.
For sure the moment I discovered BP, I fell in LOVE! There's something about them that I absolutely love and I vibe with all of their songs! I think what really drew me into their songs was 'DDU-DU DDU-DU'.
Of course my Bias is Jennie. Why? I really don't know why, there's just something about her that I just vibe with. Then again I could say that about all of them. Of course with their recent performance at Coachella, my bias was jumping between all 4 of them. They were just radiating 'boss bitch' energy!

I'm really looking forward to their encore tour and I'm really hoping that one of my friends can go because it would be my first K-Pop concert and being able to see your favorite artists live just hits different!
I remember when I went to see Sam Smith live, I had such an amazing time. From what I experienced at Sam Smith's concert, and what I've seen on social media with K-Pop groups, the energy is completely different and I'm excited to experience something like that with one of my close friends!

Nice Taeyang's Wedding Dress is a classic， Big Bang's hype happen to be everywhere back then and i kinda dislike them for no reason ( although GD's hair was a trend starter but it was a nono to me ) maybe thats why drop them and only listen to Taeyang's song.

I forgot that they change to B2st, Fiction do bring back memories too when i saw you mentioning them xD, i like their song shock as well. But i listen to Fiction & The Chaser (Infinite) together as a pair back then.

I do agree that Black Pink members have their own attraction, but i was once a fan of Rose's visual well it ends once i found my bias lol. I shall put your bias as Jennie for now, you can update me again if there is any changes on bias xD The song DDU-DU DDU-DU, you can forget the lyrcis but that chorus will always stay in your head.

Yeah the asian concerts (Kpop/J-rock) have a different vibe compared to westerns. As K-pop groups do world tours frequently from what i notice, i guess the only worry is to get that tickets haha

Oh man really cool to hear BTOB and Bang Youngguk are having comebacks - they were pretty legendary during their 3rd gen time (iirc Bang Youngguk was the leader of BAP who was super hot when they debuted). Also I really want to listen to more of Lee Mujin's music! He is so incredibly talented and I love listening to his Leemujin Service series on YT (where he has singers guest and they sing solo/duets together). Also Kim Doah?? Glad to hear she is releasing something. The girl works hard and deserves more, for sure. Bad luck that she didn't make Kepler/Fanatics didn't take off.

Definitely most excited for G-IDLE, Dreamcatcher, and SHINee. Will tune in to Nicole and Twice's JP singles too.

EXCUSE ME though a Nine Muses subunit comeback?????? Something I didn't know I needed!! Nine Muses had so many freaking bops back in the day, looking forward to this. Hope it is good.

Haha i didn't went to check em out , so i just googled and Nine Muses A is a sub group that was created after they disbanded 9muses . I did listen to their song back then too.

BAP & Kepler ring a bell for me, but i didn't tap into them. Its still nice to see artists that went solo after their group disbanded , doing well. xD

Will take a look at 9muses as well along with twice and (G)I-DLE this round
