for me what really helped was to pick just a few threads to monitor every five minutes. my recommendation is to pick like five threads and hold to them.

i also noticed that most of my eggs i got in the first/last page of the thread. that might be just a coincidence, but i think it helps regardless, since it makes you refresh less pages and you get less confused in the process.

Thanks for the tips! I have been checking around in areas I don't usually go to, but I guess my timing is off. I only really check in the evening when I get home from work, so my window to check and browse around is pretty tight =/ I'll keep looking around tho!

You can combine the post settings + tabs opening, I'm sorry you feel bad @(you need an account to see links) , I understand the feeling since that's how I feel when I try to read something and i'm on a car or bus

@(you need an account to see links) the easter eggs will dissapear with a message after you click on them. What happened it's that you came across the Ryugotchi egg which is similar and it's always tricking people

I feel similar when I scroll so much too. I found that it started happening after I increased the post per page. if you combine the tip from darkskies and then remove signatures and avatar to reduce the scrolling, it helps a little

Don't forget to turn the avatars and signatures back on afterwards so you can see everyone else's amazing avatar and signature when done hunting!

This might help, but I don't think they're in the same place for everyone. Also even if they were, they change location every 5 minutes so it wouldn't really help unless you see someone's link immediately.

Now that I think about it last year while I was hunting many users were sharing links and I did catch some thanks to that.

It won't hurt to try though, after all egg are always changing and they can fall back at another time to some shared threads
