you can but if you neglect it too long and nobody else can take care of it it might die. the userbar will be there but there will be a little tombstone.

it can become an egg again from this stadium but if i understood that correctly it might make it more difficult to get your luck up from there on/unlock new things for your ryu.

i'm a bit hazy on the details though so you'll have to look a bit for bat's posts explaining this specific bit.

If you allow your Ryu to die multiple times then you will lose your Ryu completely.

It would have to be treated well through a reincarnation cycle to make up for the luck deficit in order to evolve later.

From Bat. Seems like it's a continuous spectrum so we will have to make up for the deficit eventually.

Yes, if you let it die you'll have to restart (but I'd feel really bad about doing that!). I think there are only so many times you can let it die, too. I'd recommend just going through the usual monthly evolutions - I haven't got a kitty yet but I've had lots of interesting things along the way. Taking care of them is fun too, and you can go for userbars like Poopalicious and the Ryusitters bar by caring for other people's Ryu.

I just wanted to add that taking care of others' ryus will also increase your ryu's stars. So the evolutions aren't just tied to how much you took care of yours *presuming babysitting is turned on, but how many total ryu interactions you had. Hope this helps! ^^

Full hearts are different than the full stars as seen underneath your ryu on your (you need an account to see links) page. When people stop by and baby sit your ryu, the hearts will fill up. If you desperately wanted to branch hop via death of ryu method, you'd turn off babysitting and then wait 4 or so days until it gets a grave and a halo overhead. However that is not recommended at all as deaths will limit your ability to evolve up future ryu branches, such that you might never be able to reach a dragon or cerebus for example. Ryus are meant to live and thrive and be happy! I would 100/10 recommend trying to trade before that. Your stars for you ryu also are determined by your care of others' ryus, so even if you don't care for yours but you do for others you still might reach 5 stars.

Ryu's evolve every 3-4 weeks. They take time to grow up.
