Strange Potion for changing genders of pets

Has anyone here tried using a strange potion to change the gender of an Uncoverted Pet?

It should in theory work the same was as changing a converted one, but what I normally just do is fight the Lab Ray Scientist to change pet gender

I feel like TNT has discussed this at some point and said it would change the gender but not change the image. (For example, an UC royal pet)

So it would be an UC Royalboy Whatever with a gender of female.

I know for a fact it will not change an UC royal boy into an UC royal girl - or vice versa. It will change the gender like @(you need an account to see links) mentioned but that's all it will do. So you will have a female royal boy or something like that. It would be cool if you could swap back and forth between the actual art and pet like that, but alas, it's not possible.

Second the responses of others in this thread. Changing the gender of a UC doesn't change the image, even going from Royal Boy to Royal Girl or vice-versa.

It's also a very expensive way to change gender. Cheapest and safest way will always be to battle the Lab Ray Scientist.

What if I get gender change from lab zap, will it change the image? I think it'll convert the pet

I can't verify this, but I'm fairly certain it'll convert the pet (or just have the same affect as the potion, where the image won't change).

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that zapping it into a different gender change will change UC RB into UC RG? I'm not sure if that's a rumour or not, though. If you're ballsy enough to try it on an UC Royal, you deserve the gender change, haha
