I had big hopes for one, but then things were busy and then I had to stop being a coordinator and it never happened. Oh, the regrets!

I haven't been around too much myself, but I miss seeing you and @(you need an account to see links) as coordinators. If you ever change your mind and end up becoming one again, please host one of these events for me! 🥺 I understand, though!

Hey if people have some amazing ideas for the site please put it in the suggestion thread too so we can track it.

Also you DON'T HAVE to be a coordinator to run site events. I was running stuff well before being a coordinator. So if you have something you want to run put it in the suggestion thread and say you would take the lead and as staff we can support you through the process 💪

As someone whose skill with coding goes up to being able to link a picture to someone's userlookup on Neo, the thought of a coding contest with all of us amateurs participating sounds like a glorious hot mess of fun

Ha, I wish I could pull that off! Even a master list of all of the existing bars at all would be fun to just ogle at! Reminds me of that share-y script thing I made a couple years ago, would be fun to see all the new things!

I used to teach introductory programming to people who had never looked at a line of code in their life. I'd do my best to take that energy into the process, even if I can't hold daily office hours!
