I was lurking the board of the previous owner of Woo this morning, I can't believe that people would do this over a Neopet. Like Pickle12 said, a lot of users have anxiety problems, I can't imagine how I would feel if someone got my personal information and started phoning me. That's just a step too far to be honest. So basically even if you legitimately adopt a pet you're witchunted by the PC now too. You can't win at this game.

I wouldn't lump that psycho under the blanket of the "PC".
Is the PC shitty as a collective unit? Oh yes.
Are they the biggest pain in the ass of the Neopian world? Absolutely.

But they aren't this one crazy person stalking another user over a sore loss of a neopet. I doubt any of them would take it that far. This was one crazy banana that fell off the tree.

Claire is part of a Facebook group called neopets unfiltered where she identified her username in a post from late May. I'm not surprised they found her fb, but getting harassed is wrong over a silly little group of pixels.

I'm 99% sure she bought it. That's why she freaked out and pounded it. Maybe now she's hoping that if she plays a victim she'll get to keep it.

Even if the pet was bought or the adoption process fishy...

My condolences to the owner, even if I have a lot of questions about the situation.
Pounding the pet seems like overreacting a bit when, if the stalking behavior really was legit, they could have called the police or gotten in touch with other similar solutions.

some people amaze me with the amount of time they have in their hands. can you imagine the amount of effort needed to stalk someone down right to their personal mobile number and send texts/calls just to harass them over a freaking jubjub? if i were her i would take it to my local police, though i wouldn't know what to say without sounding silly lol. Because people are asking and stressed, I now know how they got the info.

I'm starting my esports career and through finding my profile/stream, they would have found my teams facebook, then been able to contact my manager and get my personal number.

If it is floralfawn, she is incredibly sweet, and the fact that someone would do that to her just makes me mad.


Hopefully tnt will make it right. Considering the situation maybe they will return the pet to her.
