I assure you my mother had no shortage of calories and she had three boys! Both of her sisters are skinnier than her and they had 3 and 4 girls apiece.

But I don't think much of these "factual" more-males info is accurate. A lot of people in my country don't fill their census. I'm assuming it's not only here where people don't declare all the members in their household to evade tax XD

Weird note:

From what I understand about makin' bebehs... If the mother has a high caloric intake during the like 'conception' period, chances are high that you they will have a girl because mother nature sees that the mother is well fed and does not need to put more boys into the world since we are doing well enough with our current amount (boys are the food getters, so high calorie intake suggests that no one is hungry and therefore the males are doing their jobs)

As you may already think - this is causing an influx of girls being born in industrialized countries and their high calorie diets.

Sadly for me, I got crippling morning sickness and went through a period of being too busy with my life to eat often at the point of my conception. Now I'm having a beautiful boy instead of a beautiful girl. Doesn't matter, having babeh :3

Fun theory, but the sex is determined by the sperm, not the egg/mom in any way. Congrats on your incoming little one!
