Yeah this was a change they made after the last leak. It’s very annoying but it’s just a thing now. Have an email ready to go and change the email first. That way if the lockout comes sooner than expected, at least you can send a lost password to the email and make sure you’re able to get in.
Also, in my adventures, I’ve noticed that you have to ensure you get to the page that says your email was changed successfully and shows the link to click to login. Sometimes the pass reset page takes awhile or times out - but I’ll still be able to login with the new password. Then at least 50% of the time I’ll be logged out and need to log back in via pass reset. It’s a bit buggy but that doesn’t happen TOO often.
