When I was younger I RP'd some inappropriate situations through neomail with my friends.
THANKFULLY I was able to later contact these friends offsite once we figured out how to exchange AIM screen names (Post a graphic on a petpage stating your screen name, direct your friends to it and then promptly delete it before anyone else sees and reports you) and they were all who they said they were, not some creepy old dudes pretending to be 12-13. I'm actually still friends with a handful and have visited a few of them IRL once we all got drivers licenses.
So TNT could block uncle and basement but my little gaggle of 12-13 year old friends still figured out ways to get away with some pretty inappropro RPs

As a kid I used a fake birthday on neopets and coming back could not remember it.. and lost an old account. bummer.
I was also one of those shits who would put obnoxious midi versions of things left and right.
Lots of Linkin Park and Evanescence, because that was The Hip Thing At The Time. I honestly miss that obnoxious era of autoplay, it was charming and helped introduce me to a lot of bands I still like today.
Also turned my pets into really obscure/less-drawn species and repeatedly won BC trophies that way.
Nobody else put effort into Techo art at the time? More gold trophies for me. :p

I made tons of accounts on different email adresses like "they said 4 in one emailaccount. They didn't say how many emailadresses."
Than I used a Roodoku solver and sourde Codes to win different games.

Ooh I remember suddenly that about 20 years ago I used to have this neofriend who had an awesome Midi version of some Celtic song on his lookup. I saved the file and only after Shazam was created did I find out who was the artist. The user was frozen a few years later, turned out he had been grooming kids. He had asked for my e-mail and AIM/MSN a few times as well...
