Yeah, I've been watching it. I liked Dollhouse, and this is just like Jurassic Park vs Dollhouse IMO. Interested to see where they go with it though, it it's more about the ethics or goes the path of the original.
I'm pretty much in-love with this show already. It's new, just started it's first season at the beginning of October. The pilot bit**-slapped me in the face. I didn't have any previous knowledge of the movie that it's based on, and hadn't even seen a preview at all. I'd like to discuss it a little bit so I'll put the next part in a spoiler in case you haven't seen it yet. And if you haven't, and like science fiction and/or drama, then I definitely recommend it.

I came in on the second episode of this show, my bro filled me in on the first episode though. Watched the third episode today and it's pretty good so far.
I could honestly see something like that springing up in our reality today.
What's my definition of success?
Creating something no one else can
Being brave enough to dream big
Grindin' when you're told to just quit
Giving more when you got nothin' left
I thought I had already responded. woops

I feel like the concept of people having control over artificial life really creates a ton of room for character development, but even the current narrative parallels our world in a lot of ways. When they show the view of "westworld" which I think may be a model(?!) makes me think of a kid with a magnifying glass, torching ants. The ethics are really starting to come in to play even more, give me the impression of something more sinister ,as the show goes on. I think the most recent episode was like a glimpse of artificial becoming aware, remembering, and developing unique personalities. That is eerie because it's almost the same model that our psychology uses to describe us.. Child development - id, ego, super ego, and the collision that seems to be taking place in that one lady (lol I can't remember her name, but she's the main character). Her creator (that black guy - man I suck at remembering names) and her experiences is very similar, ya know? The last episode when he said something like "no, let's see where this takes us." I can't remember exactly, but it gave me a bad impression of him because his tone was like "yeah, this is gonna fu** sh** up, go ahead with it." haha
Where to watch :o ? Sounds interesting :3
I've seen the first three episodes so far and I love this show. The idea in itself is not that original, there are many shows with a similar theme, but the story is compelling, the casting is stellar and the image is beautiful.
I hope the story stays that good even when some of the mysteries will have been revealed (like who the hell is the man in black ?) but for now it looks quite promising. And I'm also very curious to see what happens to Dolores.
"Each of us has heaven and hell in him"
I think the man in black is
ALL SPOILERS!!!
I wonder if Anthony Hopkins is going to be able to keep his remote opinion of the hosts throughout the series.
Love this show!
