Seeing the parents list and its updates lately made me think of a neopets parallel: PL known and PL unknown lmao.

I refreshed all day and finally @(you need an account to see links) 's ryu woke up! - 4 poops and + 4 hearts

Hahahah! I did like being able to scoop my own's poops once in a while when I was PL unknown, but I don't mind either way

It has its good sides for sure, but when a Ryu is unknown it could potentially die from neglect

Yup, it's a balance for sure and I definitely don't want that. Do you or anyone else know if not displaying the userbar saves the ryu from being at risk of dying, or would they still be at risk all the same?

I have no idea actually, but maybe someone else does?

I know they don't go into any sort of stasis if the bar is not visible, will still poop and need care, so I assume they can also die if they are left in that state for long enough.

if I remember correctly your ryu will die if you hide the user bar because nobody can take care of it

I did used to hide it if I knew I was going to be too busy to login. @(you need an account to see links) told me not to and I'm guessing this is why. Good to be on the list then

On another note...... In our edit profile, under the Ryugotchi there are 5 stars. What do they mean???
