What are the biggest mistakes you've made on Neopets?

11 years ago I didn't know the difference between a pb and a plushie pb. So tried to paint faeries and babys and never worked, I could have own ucs ;-;

Mine would be the same...I remember buying a baby plushie paint brush hoping I could paint my kougra with it...totally clueless and had no idea lol

I was a total n00b with games and the internet - I only played tamagotchi (when they set up at online version) when I just joined neo lol.

Another thing I wish I had faster internet back then, I missed so many cool pets because I still had dial-up lol. I also didn't know about that quick adopt link back in the day ~_~

Converting my royal draik the day the conversion happened, and trading my rw named uc faerie xwee for a robot draik shortly thereafter. I wanted a robot draik for forever but I got one after conversion and it was pointless because than I couldn't customize it. Still kick myself in the ass.

When I started playing I didn't know about the existence of a Shop Wizard. Instead, I would go to the market place and click on random spots to enter these huge "malls" that offered me overpriced items lol. Also, once I knew about the existence of the shop wizard no one told me that I could have pressed F5 to get more prices in different shops.

someone said they had a plushie pb on their shop for 99k. i was a newbie and hushed to buy it thinking it was a great deal (that i was sniping from other people because i was oh so very quick) and i was finally gonna be rich on neopets. it was a junk item with a css plastered on top of it lmao

I fell for this stupid scam that someone was able to duplicate items using this cheat on their freakin' floppy disk. I gave them my password and asked them for......................


a puppyblew. my favorite petpet.

I lost my account over a cheap petpet and not even a painted one!!! I wasn't a decent enough player to even ask for a christmas paint brush.

Was young & stupid, fell for a scam where someone in a Neopet thread claimed to help you earning tons of np & pbs after a week if you gave them username and passwords lol.

The scammer frozen my account after hacked it and I cannot get it back because it required those parent form things (was under 13). Only have around 100k and a baby tonu in that account at the time but I was super frustrated still because it took the stupid me a lot of time to earn them all and I loved my baby tonu lmao.
