The story behind your cK Username

My story isn't super intriguing, but when I joined in December 2019 my first chosen name was Ronan. Ronan, in general is an Irish name I love and means "little seal".

A year-ish later I became Reverie - which I often felt described me because I zone out a lot and am kind of in a 'daydream' at times. I kept that one for a bit until earlier last year when I became Cherubi. I felt like my name choices were a little too niche (if this is the right word), so I wanted something that would blend in a bit better. I was searching through pokemon and came across Cherubi. I'm already partial to grass type Pokemon (Leafeon is my favorite but alas, it was taken) and I have a dog named 'Ruby' so the fact it did slightly include it in the name felt more endearing to me.

I really enjoyed reading through all the stories in this thread. It's so interesting to learn what your inspiration and the history for all your names are

My story: I had no idea what this site was about. I only knew that I could get the answers to the Mystery Picture here. So I picked my silly name. I have two granddaughters and I always call them PeanutFace. Still do. Since I did not realize how involved I would become with the wonderful people here, I really did not think about a username. So now I am stuck with PF!!!!

Back in 2013 I used the same UN for everything and when I came back I cringed when I saw what it was. I went with this one because I love breaking bad but not only the character he plays in that series, I think he does great work and so I chose the man himself.

My origin isn't as cool as you guys! When I first signed up, I used my real name, and I guess that wasn't the best idea at first, but I didn't mind. I also ended up receiving a well-deserved infraction early on, which demotivated me from posting, especially considering I was new to everything.. but Bat encouraged me to try again (that's why I love this guy so much). He was so understanding and kind. So, I decided to start over and chose the username Zenitsu.

I was heavily into watching the anime back in 2019/2020 when it started gaining popularity, and I absolutely loved the character's combination of silliness and seriousness. I could relate to him so much and saw many similarities between us. He was a perfect fit for me. He has become one of my all-time favorite characters! Even when he first appeared in the show, he instantly became my favorite, despite not knowing anything about his skills or past. There was just something so unique about him. I had a strong feeling that he would be special! I'm so glad I stuck with watching the series because I've loved every scene, and this character holds a special place in my heart. It really worked out perfectly!

I've considered changing my username many times (just Zen), but it doesn't feel right to change it and lose some history associated with it. So, I think I'll stick with it. French fries hair forever! 💛

@(you need an account to see links) Was it Ahsoka, perhaps? 😄 It was literally the first username I saw on the forum, and I still vividly remember their avatar. They seemed so nice! I stopped seeing them at some point, so I always wondered what happened to them.

It is pretty straight forward. I was trying to think of something semi-recognizable that is not just a random word, and I like Ghasts, so I picked it. My username before was something really random... some random long uncapitalized word... XD

My spouse was on a kick of listening to throwback songs from our favorite bands as teens. We loved the OG mayday parade (we got in trouble by our parents thirteen years ago leaving town together at 17yo to see them in concert, lol) and he was playing their song "Goodnight Moon" while in the shower when I signed up for CK. So.... here I am. Also my real name starts with G so it goes along haha.
