Honestly, I'm expecting most of it to be 1 cap junk, yeah. Especially considering the recent new NC releases...but, there's an excitement to checking your stocking every day.

I've been on hiatus for many, many years and therefore haven't participated, so I figured I might as well this year. If you're not looking to spend the money on the packs then I think it's much more reasonable to trade for (or buy) any items you want, since it's likely the majority of them won't be great.

Personally, I'm just excited to participate in the event--it's like opening a stocking as a kid again. And not as an adult when all your sense of wonder has died

They are! I love checking the little stocking, even if the item turns out to not be my cup of tea. It's just nice to participate again. ^^

The Frosty Fir Tree Dress seems cute, but apparently it's not working in the closet yet. I hope it fits well and doesn't look like my pet got plastic wrapped to a bush. x)

I like today's foreground (wish it was animated in someway so Miniature Winter Village wins there) but JS couldn't be bothered to type out foreground and just went with "FG" Just amusing

The advent calendar has had a lot of nice wearables so far lol I'm hope we get some decent stuff out of this damn.

It's sad once you started to notice the Tiny Christmas Town FG is just a really sad copy/paste of the Miniature Winter Village. (Today's Advent item is also such a crappy copy..)

Once you start seeing these you can't unsee (they recycle a LOT of assets from other NC items too =/)
