people want this to be patched for many reasons. I dont play neopets so what you say yes goes towards me. But lets talk about the majority here. Majority of neopets players are not sellers. Majority of the people want this gone so they can go back to playing neopets.
Am I supposed to be impressed? This goes beyond you and I my friend.

That's exactly right. Everyone wants to maximize their profits, nobody wants to play a game to be broke all the time. The illegit side of things wants their items to be worth something, and the people onsite want their items to be worth something. Nobody wants the duped items floating around. It wouldn't have been so bad if it was a more difficult exploit, where fewer people knew about how to do it. There wouldn't be such a mass influx of items like there is now, with everybody knowing exactly how to do it, and do it with virtually no effort haha.
So are peoples motives for wanting everything to be fixed/deleted/patched selfish? Yep. Are peoples motives for not wanting everything to be fixed/deleted/patched selfish as well? Absolutely. It just depends which side of the coin youre on, and how long you would like the neo-economy to remain at least /somewhat/ stable.

What's my definition of success?
Creating something no one else can
Being brave enough to dream big
Grindin' when you're told to just quit
Giving more when you got nothin' left

If the duped items all have the same id then you would expect TNT to delete them all by now with ease. It has been weeks and most of the items still exists. I believe it's safe to say that the internal item creation method actually creates a new id for the duped items, which is why it's giving TNT such a hard time. This is pretty poor programming imo.

anyone think the market will flood again? i want to pick up some good stuff
The only duped items they have deleted, are ones that have been put in public sight, and reported by other players.
They have yet to delete any self-duped items on accounts which have not had public interactions. Can they not detect and delete these, or are they just cooking up some scheme to mass-delete them somehow, idk. Time will tell.
I've been duping everyday on one account and stashing the duped contents in the sdb since the day the method got publicly released, just to see when it gets iced, which has yet to happen.
