PSA: Support tickets prior to July 19th, 2023 have been lost in ownership change.

I was completing dailies via /~Cenh and noticed a blurb at the top of the page stating that due to a support ticket system change from the founding of World of Neopets that all old tickets are now inaccessible. If you submitted a ticket prior to this date and have not received a reply.. this is why.

You can also identify tickets from the old system by the ticket #. Old system tickets are 6 numbers, the new ones are in the low 1000s and currently 4 digits. This was further referenced on Highway to Help by TNT_Ferret.

Furthermore, new and active tickets arrive with automated responses from (you need an account to see links) rather than (you need an account to see links).

Relevant to our interests, I wonder if this will wipe the slate clean for some people who have hit a brick wall in their recovery options and would rather previous inquiries be *~*forgotten*~*.

I can confirm that the automated ticket replies are indeed coming from (you need an account to see links) as I submitted a few in the past couple of days inquiring about lost accounts etc

I might try and submit some tickets for previously frozen accounts and see how they go now

Precisely my thinking One can only hope. I'm off to submit a few different tickets for various accounts and test the waters, so to speak

I can confirm with certainty as of today they didn't lose ban reason. The only information lost is tickets themselves. Not freeze reasons.

Oh well, wishful thinking I suppose. I do wonder how long they keep those ban reasons for. They only keep item logs for so long before they are gone.

That said. If you want to appeal, right now is the time because all past appeals are gone and it looks fresh.

In neopian history right NOW is your best chance to get anything back that you want to appeal for.

Just wondering, why would it make a difference now? I had an account that was banned for using cheat programs and I tried getting it back a couple weeks ago but was rejected. Wondering if it was possible to maybe get it back now

Welp, there goes that glimmer of hope, I'm still going to give some a go though, you never know unless you try, right? Like you said, the best time to appeal any bans would be now, so why not eh?
